Osteoporosis Rehabilitation

I am a specialist in osteoporosis rehabilitation, whether this is your primary condition or a secondary symptom of another medical condition - there are exercises and steps that you can take to maintain or improve bone health.

Most exercises that suit osteoporosis rehabilitation are based on bodyweight, and with equipment that can be purchased very cheaply. In this way, the same exercises performed in your rehabilitation classes can also be performed at home. As such, your rehabilitation will be sped up by a comprehensive, complimentary home exercise pack to supplement your work with me.

You will also receive a special osteoporosis support pack giving advice about home exercises, lifestyle tips for boosting bone health, tips on managing lifestyle, advice on fall-risk reduction, nutritional support and links to the osteoporosis website, interesting articles, telephone helpline and upcoming osteoporosis conferences. This support pack also comes with a useful voucher entitling sufferers of osteoporosis to receive a completely complementary 68-page book on the condition through the post. The pack also provides links to helpful leaflets and educational literature that will aid understanding of osteoporosis on various topics such as age, diet, and other medical conditions. I have professional membership with the National Osteoporosis Society, and as such am able to get as many copies of the following leaflets as needed:

- Anorexia Nervosa and osteoporosis

- Anti-epileptic drugs and osteoporosis

- Breast cancer treatments and osteoporosis
